Weekly Impressive Animal Pictures: September 13, 2011

An 8-year-old dog named in the upcoming Guinness World Records 2012 Edition for having the longest ears, a giant 21-foot crocodile eating a whopping 300-pound Topi antelope, and two Aldabra tortoises fighting for just a carrot, are some of the weekly impressive animal pictures on September 13, 2011.


A Black and Tan Coonhound, Harbor, from Boulder, Colorado, USA is named in the upcoming Guinness World Records 2012 Edition for having the longest ears on a living dog (left and right ears measure 12.25 inches and 13.5 inches respectively. The 8-year-old dog is owned by Jennifer Wert.
