World?s Best Animal Pictures

Posing photos about animals, especially tiny ones is a difficult job for all photographers because they will spend much time patiently waiting for good chances and taking pictures. A Blue Morpho butterfly sucking nectar from one banana, a seagull flying over the sea at Marazion and a weaver constructing its home are among the world’s best animal pictures.

Some whooper swans settle down for the night on a frozen stretch of Hokkaido's Notsuke Bay. They seem not to be shy when posing in front of the camera.

The frogs named Boophis Tsilomaro were discovered in Madagascar by scientists and professor Miguel Vences, who found and named about 100 types of the amphibians along with a close colleague.

Lionsrock, a wildlife sanctuary about three hours from Joburg near the town of Bethlehem, is home to mistreated animals, especially big cats rescued from circuses and zoos all over the world. It was founded by Vienna-based organization Four Paws three years ago.

The amazing picture by Jiri Slama captures a builder constructing its home from the first framework made of some grass leaves. This weaver seems to be professional in building an ideal nest.

Some nosy cows from Netherlands sit on a green grass carpet captured by Jorinde van Ringen. This photographer feels really lucky because when he takes the photo, the weather is nice.

The following photo that captures gorgeous sunrise, wind direction and snow geese was taken by Troy Lim in December 2010 during his first trip to Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico. He had to spend four days waiting in the cold weather an hour before posing.
